Geno Smith is a quarterback for the New York Giants.
Born in Miami, FL, Smith attended Miramar High School and committed to West Virginia in November of 2010.
A three-year starter, Smith’s collegiate honors include Orange Bowl MVP and All-Big East Conference First Team. Following his senior season, Smith entered thedeclared for the 2013 NFL Draft.
The 39th overall selection by the New York Jets in the 2013 NFL Draft, Smith earned a starting role by Week 1 of his rookie season. Following four seasons with the Jets, Smith became a free agent in 2017. In March 2017, he signed with the New York Giants.
Smith spearheads a philanthropic endeavor called “7 Sunday Heroes”, a program that invites special guests to a Jets home games, crafting a special experience for the recipients. Past honorees include children from Boys and Girls Club, as well as a 9/11 first responder.
In May of 2013, Smith signed with Roc Nation Sports ahead of the NFL Draft.
